I've always been a fan of Veggie Tales. We may not be any "religion" in our home, but the values in the Veggie Tales' movies are ones that ALL parents endorse. In Sweetpea Beauty (get it? Instead of SLEEPING Beauty? It took me a while, I confess) the principle message is to be beautiful on the inside and see the beauty inside of everyone else. The songs and characters are as engaging and hysterical as always (though I am still a bit unsettled by the whole "no arm" thing. The glass just... floats up to her mouth?!? Wha?) and the storyline engaged all of my kids (though my sons might deny it, they both enjoyed it, too).
